Meet Get Red PR Founder,
Ann-Marie Nieves
Great things can come in small packages. Sometimes small is a benefit, and Get Red PR’s boutique size does provide big-box value. When it comes to PR, we believe that one size doesn’t fit all. So we offer each of our clients a fresh approach, focused attention, individualized service, and creative insight into the many ways that their business can become a brand.
Our diverse team of publicists, copywriters, graphic designers, marketers and new media consultants work daily and directly with clients. We’re hands on. We listen.
Ann-Marie Nieves
Founder, Get Red PR
Ann-Marie Nieves’ fascination with the power of the media began at age three, when she began reading newspapers to the point that her mother had to hide them from her. Her entrepreneurial instincts kicked in comparatively late – at the age of six – when she launched her summer camp’s premiere gossip magazine. Other forays into publishing and feature writing throughout high school and college career ultimately pointed her to her professional destiny: public relations.
Ann-Marie is an award-winning communicator with experience across a broad range of industries in both the business-to-consumer and business-to-business sectors. She is a highly experienced communications strategist, social media specialist and copywriter who excels at launching new businesses. She has created successful campaigns for clients in industry sectors as diverse as non-profit, books/authors, health, pets, music, real estate, food, music, entertainment, “green” and education.
Ann-Marie has garnered placements in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN, Good Morning America, NPR, Marketwatch, Parade, Working Mother, NPR, People, POPSUGAR, Good Housekeeping, and Oprah.
Prior to founding Get Red PR, Ann-Marie held positions with Shea Communications, Hamilton Ink and Giles Communications. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Purchase College.
